We now offer the latest in treatment options for those that suffer from chronic sinusitis, Acclarent's Balloon Sinuplasty™ system, in partnership with Pennock Health Services. Our Balloon Sinuplasty (BSP) is a safe and effective procedure for chronic sinusitis patients who are not responding well to medications and are seeking relief from uncomfortable and painful sinusitis symptoms.
With Balloon Sinuplasty, Dr. Nosanov, M.D., opens inflamed sinuses in the same way that heart surgeons open up blocked arteries during balloon angioplasty. The procedure is less invasive than traditional sinus surgery, and effective at relieving symptoms of chronic sinusitis. Balloon Sinuplasty allows patients to return to normal activities quickly. Unlike conventional sinus surgery, it does not include removal of bone or tissue from the nose. Download our Brochure to learn more.
We offer comprehensive care for the full scope of ear, nose and throat problems in children. Pediatric Otolaryngology provides complete diagnosis and treatment of all aspects of the specialty. This would include hearing loss, tonsillitis, otitis media, head and neck masses, and infections and pediatric airway problems to include tracheotomies, and subglottic stenosis.
We are experts in providing hearing and balance evaluations. Dizzy spells and losing your balance seriously compromise your quality of life, limiting many activities that you really enjoy. We can help by providing treatment of ear and balance disorders before such a problem becomes more serious.
One of the most common and most misunderstood breathing disorders is snoring. Sometimes it’s as simple as an allergy that’s treatable with medication, and sometimes it can be corrected with the right pillow or other sleeping aid product. But other times it can be a signal of a much more serious condition like sleep apnea, where the body is getting insufficient or interrupted oxygen, which can cause serious sleep disordered breathing and even lead to more serious conditions such as a heart attack or stroke. We provide advanced diagnostic technology such as Fiberoptic Naso-Laryngoscopy for complete in-office airway evaluation, so that our prescribed method of treatment is the most logical, offering you the greatest chance for success.
We provide superior evaluation and diagnoses for hoarsness, voice changes, chronic throat clearing, cough, and foreign-body sensation. In addition, we treat laryngopharyngeal reflux or LPR - a condition that can go undetected and cause chronic cough, excess phlegm and hoarseness. The first step in diagnosing LPR is to look for the tell-tale inflammation of the voice box using our state-of-the-art endoscopes, right in our own office. We take it a step further by measuring the amount of acid reflux reaching the vocal cords and can also determine the time of day or night this is occurring. Thus, we can then tailor a treatment regimen consisting of dietary/lifestyle modifications as well as medications to manage this common problem.
